Edible Landscaping
Community Gardens & Local Food Projects
Community gardens and Local Food Projects are a brilliant way of bringing together different individuals and groups in a local area. They can be a green focal point in areas which can often be lacking in green spaces. Edible Landscaping has been involved a number of community gardens, edible gardens and local food projects since the mid 90s. The most recent garden was implemented at the Adamsdown Community Project.
Edible Landscaping’s involvement in a project can be as:
- A fully fledged project manager where I would work with a number of interest groups and individuals to bring together varying and often disparate ideas into a finalised design ready for implementation.
- A landscape designer providing a well drafted and professional design where the ideas have been fully worked up by other community professionals.

- Something in between these two roles.
Other community gardens...
- I have also designed for Fairwater Community Garden, Riverside Community Garden, (a video of the making of the garden called "Urban Oasis" is available) and Cornwall Street Baptist Church Community Wildlife Garden.
